Resveratrol came into the limelight and started being tested following the French Paradox. The French were seen to consume a saturated fat diet and drink a lot of red wine, and yet the rate of cardiovascular diseases was very less compared to others. This led the scientists to concentrate on the contents and the effects of red wine. Resveratrol has been under research since then and has produced some startling results. The facts related to Resveratrol & Anti Aging are very noteworthy.
How Does Resveratrol Help To Fight Aging?Various tests on animals like mice and rats showed that Resveratrol possesses strong anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. It is a powerful anti-oxidant and can reduce the damage due to the generated free radicals in the body. This increases the life expectancy of the body cells. Being an anti-mutant, it can prevent cancerous growth and tumor development in cells, enhancing a better immunity and longer cell life. With less cells being damaged, aging is reduced.
Aging can also be explained as the reduction in the body’s capacity to repair damaged cells and create new cells. Resveratrol can create a situation where the body feels that not enough energy is available for it to carry on its functions. This makes the body to use up the stored fats, releasing useful energy. The increased amount of energy is vital for the cells for better immunity and repairing. This again increases the life of the cells and reduces aging.
Resveratrol is therefore seen to preserve cells in the body. The increased amount of free energy makes it possible to create new cells too. All this add up to the anti-aging characteristics of Resveratrol. Consuming Resveratrol supplement pills made with Resveratrol extracts can cause reverse aging and help to make you look and feel younger.
There is much more to Resveratrol and its advantages. The above information related to Resveratrol & Anti Aging tells us how we can use this compound to our advantage and live a longer and healthier life.

Resveratrol is the ingredient in red wine that made headlines in November 2007 when scientists demonstrated that it kept overfed mice from gaining weight, turned them into the equivalent of Olympic marathoners, and seemed to slow down their aging process. Few medical discoveries have generated so much instant buzz.
Resveratrol is one of a group of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols found in red wine that has been reported to have anti-inflammatory as well as anticancer properties.
